I have absolutely NO idea how I landed on your blog; I clicked on one of my favorites and "Irish Calvinist" opened. I then linked via "church plant" (my husband and I planted a church 2 yrs ago). Divine appointment? Don't yet know.
I read your "letter" and it confirmed some things the Lord is doing in my heart. Thank you.
Last night my husband preached from Numbers 13. His message was that the spies were not afraid, so much, OF the giants which were inhabiting the land, as they were afraid of BECOMING giants IN ORDER TO inhabit the land. They weren't willing to pay the price neccessary to overcome a "land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof".
It seems God is calling me (and the Body of Christ at large) to come up higher, to pay the price required to become a giant, and then to "posses the land"!
Anyway, I had not intended to write a book, just to tell you that I am taking up your challenge and though I have no idea who you are or what your ministry is, I will be praying that you stand in the fulness of your calling!

Very good. I am reminded that life only comes through and being in Jesus Christ. All there is, is death outside of Him (Ephesians 2:1-10). Good lesson Sunday brother.

Fudge, I agree; singing praise and truth, particularly with the people of God, is indeed moving.

Our study at the Whitman home was awesome. All those voices singing in a packed living room was actually pretty moving. Space is the worst of our problems, and it's a good problem to have. I pray that we will always be bursting at the seems with people eager to praise Christ!
